Acrobatics (Acro) – Youth, Beginner
This class is designed for the beginning youth acrobatics (acro/ tumbling) student. The class will prepare the student to move into the Youth Intermediate/Advanced Acrobactics class in addition to building stregnth and conditioning for all circus skills and act development. Cartwheels, forward rolls, fun flip flops and plops are included. Starting Ages 8 (unless approved by instructor).

Acrobatics (Acro) – Youth, Intermediate/Advanced
This class is a combination stretching, basic handstands, tumbling and conditioning for ages 8 – 18 with intermediate to advanced experience. Please check with us before registering for this class to assure this is the right class for your child. This is a two-hour class and requires a 10 class committment which can start and stop at anytime.

Circus Condition & Fitness – Adult, All Levels
Using mixed aerial apparatus and other circus and fitness equipment, you will be taken through a series of conditioning exercises that are designed to train the aerialist and non-aerialist alike. Everyone benifits from working out on the circus equipment and you never have to go up in the air (unless you want). Adults only please. No aerial experience necessary. Everyone welcome.

Circus Kids -  Levels 1 (5-6yrs)
Does your child have aspirations of jumping, flying, tumbling, and bouncing off more than just the walls? This is an exciting and safe class that builds coordination, flexibility and awesome skill. In this class children are introduced to Acrobatics through Obstacle Courses, Dancing through the air on the Tissue and static Trapeze, and gain that “Wow” factor through Juggling and Clowning. This is circus for all skill levels and no prior experience is necessary.

Circus Kids -  Levels 2 (7-8yrs)
This class continues to emphasize the development of coordination and large motor skill while focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and self-confidence. In this class children will explore Trapeze, Rope, Tissue, Hand Balancing, Juggling, and Clowning. This is circus for all skill levels and no prior experience is necessary.

Circus Kids -  Levels 3 (9-11yrs)
Stand on your hands, tumble like a ninja and hang upside down from the trapeze. In this class you will also learn to juggle, clown, cartwheel and climb. Ever wondered what it would be like to build a human pyramid? This one and a half hour class is where we do it! Circus for all skill levels with no prior experience is necessary.

Clowning – Youth, Intermediate/Advanced
Physical theater, theatrical clown and comedia for the professional level performing artist. Instructor approval required.

Contortion – Youth & Adult, Beginning
Contortion skill development for Beginner Youth & Adult ages (8 and up). This class is great for students with interest in performance and also for yogis or bendy adults. A 10-class commitment is required and can start and stop at any time.

Contortion – Youth, Intermediate/Advanced
Contortion skill development for Intermediate and Advanced youth ages (8 – 11). Contact us to assure your child is placed in the correct level class.

Modern Dance – Adult, Beginner/ Advanced Beginner
This class will explore core elements of modern dance technique that include space, time, energy, breath and connectivity. Class will begin with a standing warm-up that moves to the floor for stretching and strengthening. Through a series of technique focused exercises, we will work to develop correct alignment in movement and stillness, explore the thrills of suspension and falling, and connect movement patterns and phrases. Don’t be intimidated – everyone can do it. Express your inner dancer. Join us!

Juggling – Family, Mixed Ages & Levels
Juggling is a skill that wins friends and influences people every time. You know you always wanted to learn and now is your chance. Taught by Tyler Parks (Juggling Extraordinaire – member of The Pie Clowns) you and your family, your friends or just you will enjoy this class. Anyone can juggle – really. You will learn to juggle balls, clubs, scarves, and anything you can throw (not including lawn movers). You can even learn to juggle while hoola-hooping. Buy a 10-Class package and save off the regular drop-in rates. The added bonus is the cardio workout you get chasing the balls you drop while you are learning.

Parkour / Circus Acrobatics – Youth (ages 9-12)

Kinetic Arts is excited to offer a Youth Parkour / Circus Acrobatics class for the first time. Parkour is the art of moving freely through your environment. By cultivating coordination, agility, and power, parkour prepares children to overcome obsticles of any kind, whether they are physical, or personal. Parkour is a noncompetitive way to encourage self-development, and a great way for kids to learn about progression physical progression. We’ll be covering safe effective techniques for landing, rolling, balance, basic vaults, climbing, leaping, and precision.

Partner Acro- Youth, Intermediate/Advanced
This class focuses on acrobatics with a partner for ages 8 – 18 with intermediate to advanced experience. Please check with us before registering for this class to assure this is the right class for your child. This is a two-hour class and requires a 10 class commitment which can start and stop at anytime.

Pilates Mat Class – Adult, Mixed Level
Pilates is a deceptively gentle and challenging form of “mind-body” exercise. It is a highly effective form of injury prevention for everyone from elite athletes to desk jockeys. This group fitness class is for anyone interested in developing and maintaining core strength and improving their body awareness, posture and coordination. Think about taking this class while your child takes their own circus class.

Pole Fit & Play™:  Pole Fitness Class
Pole Climb Your Way to a New Fit Body – Come for the Climb, Stay for the Play.  All Levels and Ages Welcome – Really!  Pole Fit & Play™ incorporates pole, light weights, and varied fitness apparatus in an energetic, fun, full-body workout. Come prepared to work hard, sweat and play! All levels welcome, no shoes required.

Pre-Circus Kids – Youth, 2 years – Pre-K
Perfect for the preschooler, this class allows your child to explore the circus arts in a safe environment and with a caring instructor. Pre-Circus focuses on the development of coordination and large motor skills. Children are introduced to the concept of lines and turn taking as well as creative expression and other building blocks for lifetime success. Through the use of music, games, obstacle courses, and equipment like the trapeze, this class encourages both movement education and social development.

Rope & Tissue – Adult & Youth Classes Offered, Beginner
If you always wanted to learn how to play on aerial rope & tissue but were afraid to try — this class is for you. Everyone is encouraged to try. Give it 10 classes and we guarantee you will have fun and get stronger at the same time. Adults only please.

Rope & Tissue – Adult, Mixed Level
Rope & Tissue training with Rain Willson will get you off the ground, learning tricks and improving your strength and flexibility at the same time. This class is open to Mixed Levels.

Tai Chi Gentle Movement – Adult, All Levels

This class is designed for kids and young adults who have previous trapeze training and are ready to advance to the next level of their training program. For ages 11 – 18 but talk to us first to make sure this is the right class for your child.

Trapeze (Static) – Youth, Beginner
For youth of all ages, this beginner aerial class is the class to take if you want your child to take their first steps into the magical world of circus. PLUS when they tell their friends they are learning how to do ‘tricks’ on a trapeze or rope their cool factor will go up exponentially. Many of the kids taking this class have already had experience at summer camp or a workshop and want to take a class to expand their new found skills. Perhaps, your child is tired of climbing the curtains and fireplace mantle and it’s time to enroll him or her into a class that will tap into their inner monkey. The class requires a 10 class commitment and it will be the most fun they have all week.

Trapeze (Static) – Youth, Intermediate/Advanced
This class is designed for kids and young adults who have previous trapeze training and are ready to advance to the next level of their training program. For ages 11 – 18 but talk to us first to make sure this is the right class for your child.

Trapeze (Static) – Adult, Beginner
If you always wanted to learn how to play on a static trapeze but were afraid to try — this class is for you. Better still you get to do it on your lunch-hour!! Everyone is encouraged to try. Give it 10 classes and we guarantee you will have fun and get stronger at the same time. Adults only please.

Trapeze (Static) – Adult, Mixed Level
Want to learn tricks on the static trapeze? This trapeze class is a mixed level adult class which will focus on bulding skills on the static trapeze. Beginner to advanced students are welcome and encouraged. It is a 10-class commitment and can start and stop at any time. Whether you are just starting out in this exciting circus activity, are a circus hobbiest loooking to keep your skills sharp or preparing for a performance you will find this class to be right for you.

Trapeze (Static) – Advanced
For advanced students only — Helene Turcotte coaches static trapeze (single or double) to young adults and adults with advanced skill level. Helene’s class will move your skill level well beyond where you are now and your act will change into a glorious performance. A 10-class commitment is required.

Trapeze (Static), Rope & Tissue – Adult, Beginner
You aren’t sure if you want to try tissue, rope, trapeze or hoop BUT you DO know you want to try learning cool tricks on something that hangs from the ceiling. This Beginning Mixed Apparatus class is for you and is a great way to try everything at least once. Depending on the time you sign-up, you could take a long lunch hour and go back to the office refreshed and excited. Imagine the reaction you will get when you tell people you are training to be a circus aerialist. Everyone is encouraged to try. Give it 10 classes and we guarantee you will have fun and get stronger at the same time. You can start and stop at anytime.

Trapeze (Static), Rope & Tissue – Youth, Beginner
You aren’t sure if you want to try tissue, rope, trapeze or hoop BUT you DO know you want to try learning cool tricks on something that hangs from the ceiling. This Beginning Mixed Apparatus class is for you and is a great way to try everything at least once. This class is for Youth Ages 8+ and up. No experience necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing to train in (NO JEANS) and bring a water bottle.

Trapeze (Static), Rope & Tissue – Youth, Intermediate/Advenced
Training on Trapeze(Static), Rope & Tissue with Jaron Hollander. This is an intermediate/advanced level class. Enrollment based on instructor approval.

Wee Circus – Youth, 18 Months-2 years
Bring your own grown-up and get ready to tumble. In this class we take the first big steps with you and your wee circus artist while they develop gross motor skills and build confidence! In Wee Circus, we encourage you to learn how to spot your child on the obstacle course and assist them through stations that reinforce what the coach has taught. This is the time to explore foundational movements such as climbing, rolling, hopping, jumping, and swinging.

Yoga – Pay-What-You-Can Community Yoga – Adult, All Levels
A weekend break to refuel and refresh with our Anusara inspired Vinyasa yoga class. ! Take this class while your little one takes their own circus class. All levels welcome.
