After a stellar adventure last year, we are thrilled to announce our second annual international circus program. We again have the rare opportunity to travel abroad to experience what we love most through an international lens! This summer we’ll return to the École Nationale de Cirque de Châtellerault for a week of intensive training with up to fourteen (14) highly motivated students.

Circus students will train Monday through Friday (June 29 – July 3, 2020) with a morning and an afternoon session. The morning session will run from 9h – 12h and the afternoon session will run from 14h – 16h (MTF) and until 16h (WR). There will be between 5 – 5.5 hours of active instructional time daily…and a two-hour lunch break – how civilized!
The curriculum proposed includes instruction in Acrobatics, Hand-to-Hand, Chinese Pole, Wire, Acro Trampoline, Acrobatic/Artistic Bike, Aerial, Teeterboard, and Contemporary Dance. Selected disciplines are subject to change.
After our week of training in Châtellerault, we’ll head north to Paris to see the Palace of Versailles, take in some masterworks at the Louvre, and explore the City of Lights before heading back to the airport.
Summer 2019 was brutally hot as a canicule settled over France. Our travelers were exceptionally mellow given the uncomfortable circumstances. The ice cream didn’t hurt!
