As we hopefully near the end of the COVID crisis, most of us are feeling a great urge to go back, back to normal, back to the way things were, back to our lives. As much as we miss the things we’ve lost, going back would waste this crisis. Now is a perfect time to look forward to new dreams for ourselves, to the circus world we want to create and work in, to the communities we want to join and build, and to create the world we want to live in. This series will be a chance for a group of circus performers to look forward, together.

Jeff Raz will facilitate discussions about big ideas, like building a circus community, as well as practical skills, like prioritizing what gigs to pursue. Bring your hopes and dreams for your career and for the circus world, bring your fears and questions, too.

Every participant will get a copy of Jeff’s book “The Secret Life of Clowns” and there will be some short reading assignments from the book as well as some light research into current and past circus performers and organizations.
