Ongoing Circus Classes – FALL 2023 –

Circus Classes run Aug 21 – Dec 22, 2023  Click here to start or continue your circus training in these Drop-in classes.  

Kinetic Arts Center offers a range of circus training classes on an ongoing basis this fall.  Use discount packages to enroll in your favorite classes or start a new circus skill set.  If you have questions regarding your training level or need help deciding on the correct class to take — don’t hesitate to contact us at (510) 444-4800 or  Info @ KineticArtsCenter.com.  Look for classes like:  

      • Ground Classes – Contortion, Handstands, Acrobatics/Tumbling,
      • Aerial Classes – Trapeze, Rope and Tissue (multiple times, levels and age groups), Lyra, Tissue for Everybody

Performance Classes – FALL 2023 – Enrollment Closed

Performance Classes Run Sept 4 – Dec 10, 2023   

Performance Classes are Session-based classes and designed for the circus students who want to explore the thrills of performing in the ring with the tricks and styles learned through a semester of classes. In this Session-based class, your child will experience skill development in circus tricks/acts and stage presence with a set group of performers from beginning to end.  The classes culminate with a Show Day on Sunday, Dec 10 (Mandatory Tech is Dec 9) when we bring all the Performance Classes together into one big production. Lights, sound, costumes, and makeup fly freely in Performance Classes.

Open Enrollment for this class ends Sept 30.

CANCELLATION POLICY (Performance Classes) Cancellations prior to the first four (4) weeks of the session (Sept 30) will result in a pro-rated reimbursement of fees PLUS a $75 administration fee.  Fees on cancellations after the first four (4) weeks of the session cannot be reimbursed.  There are no make-ups for missed Performance Classes. 

Fees: $770  Fees will be prorated for later attending students and can be scheduled on a payment installment plan over a four to five-month period or in one payment.  Reach out to Info@KineticArtsCenter.com to make these arrangements.

      • Trapeze, Rope & Tissue (4:30 pm; Ages 6 – 8; Beginner) – Coach Olivia
      • TEEN Trapeze, Rope & Tissue (7:30 pm; Ages 14 – 18; Beginner/Intermediate) – Coach Olivia

Wednesdays

      • Trapeze, Rope & Tissue (3:00 pm;  Ages 8 – 14; Beginning) – Coach Grey Nelson

Thursdays

      • Trapeze, Rope & Tissue (4:30 pm; Ages 8 – 14; Beginning) – Coach Sam Carling
      • Acro/Tumbling (6:00 pm; Ages 8 – 14; Beginning) – Coach Patrick

Kinetic Arts Center offers two types of learning environments:  SESSION-based classes and DROP IN-based classes. 

 
While the purchase of either type of offering may appear to also indicate enrollment in the class of your choice, the purchase does not always automatically enroll you.  Please visit your (or your child’s) account to verify your enrollment after your purchase.   
 

Session-Based Classes: 

Students commit to attending a program for the entire season and enjoy all of the benefits that come with consistent training: improved strength, progress toward mastery of circus skills, and a major boost of confidence!  Performance Classes, Camps and Workshops are typically designed as Session-based classes. Session-based classes can be paid with four – five monthly installments or in one lump sum. Email us here or at Info@KineticArtsCenter.com to make payment arrangements.

Drop-In Based Classes:

Designed for the busy student to shape their own circus destiny with a more flexible scheduling option.  The joy of mastering amazing circus skills one step at a time on a time table that fits your lifestyle is the benefit to a Drop-In class.  Pre-enrollment is necessary to assure your spot in the class on a weekly basis.   Drop-In Based classes use our popular 10-class, or 5-class packages to assure maximum flexibility in scheduling.  Drop-In packages used for classes can be paid with four – five monthly installments or in one lump sum. CANCELLATION POLICY (Drop-In based classes):  All cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your enrolled class(s).  Cancellations within this 24 hour period (or absences without notice) will result in the pull of a class from class packages.
